At the foot of the mountains of Antique Capsa between Djebel Bou Ramli and Jebel Orbata, The Domain Carthage Sidi Aichi is located on the commonly called "Door of the Desert".
Straddling between two geographical natural regions, the high and the low steppe, the southern flank of Djebel Sidi Aïch enjoys a unique agroecological situation characterized by a continental climate, dry and hot in summer, fewly humid and cold winter ideal for growing olives.
The grove of UTIC fields, located on the northern side of the mountain range of Orbata and Sidi Aïch, spread over 1300 hectares. It is characterized by a diversity of hydrogeological soils suitability allowing the culture of different varieties of olive trees. At the horizon 2012, the Utic Olive Groves will consist of more than 1 million trees. |
